The President presides at league meetings and assumes full responsibility for the operation of the MYBA Association.
The President must ensure all league personnel are properly briefed on all phases of rules, regulations, and policies of League Baseball.
The President will also deal with any issues escalated after perusal by respective responsible parties (e.g. such as Commissioners, Player Agents, Fields And Safety, Equipment, etc.).
The Vice President presides in the absence of the President, works with other officers and committee members, and carries out such duties and assignments that may be delegated by the President.
The VP is ultimately responsible for the Schedule and works with the Tri-County Board to ensure consistent and fair play.
The VP ensures parity between the leagues and helps resolve any conflict.
The VP will also attend all District meetings either with or for the President.
The Secretary maintains a register of MYBA members, volunteers, and directors, records the minutes of meetings, and is responsible for sending out notices on meetings.
The Secretary also assists the Player Agents in conducting registration.
The Treasurer assumes the responsibility for all league finances, which includes signing checks co-signed by another director or officer, dispensing League funds at the approval by the Board of Directors, reporting on the status of League funds, keeping local League books and financial records, and preparing the operating and annual budgets.
The Treasurer is also responsible for providing MYBA's written annual and financial accounting to the District Administrator at the close of each fiscal year.
The Field Maintenance coordinates all field maintenance days.
They also ensure all fields are in playable condition on game days.
If fields are not playable, Field Maintenance works closely with Middlesex Township for specific maintenance of those fields.
Field Maintenance is solely responsible for the maintenance of those fields and the items on those fields (i.e. fences etc...).
The Registrar is responsible for Updating the registration form, getting it to the schools for distribution and assisting at registration.
The Commissioners are responsible for the daily activities of MYBA League Divisions and serve as a Vice President for their respective League.
They Represent the coaches and managers and as such are responsible for coordinating a manager/coach training program that can be implemented League wide.
They interface with Player Agents and coordinators to ensure League Rules and Regulations are enforced.
They are the escalation point for all rules, safety, scheduling, and player/coach/fan/behavioral issues.
They are also responsible for coordinating/rescheduling of any rained out games with the other Leagues and fields.
The Safety Officer’s role is to ensure compliance with the CVWLL’s Safety Awareness Plan and to coordinate the reporting of accidents and safety violations to league management.
The WM is responsible for managing the league's official home page; ensures League news and scores are updated regularly; collects, posts and disseminates League information; serves as primary point of contact for middlesexbaseball.org.
The Equipment Manager will ensure that all playing equipment is maintained in a safe, proper and useable manner.
The Equipment Manager is also responsible for the inventory, storage, care and purchase of all equipment to used by MYBA and to ensure that the equipment being used is properly sanctioned for League use.
The Equipment Manager is responsible for obtaining at least 2 bids for all equipment to be purchased and ensuring that all equipment is approved by the MYBA Board of Directors.
The Fundraiser is responsible for MYBA's annual fund raiser and assisting at registration.
Special Events would organize our opening day and any additional MYBA picnics.
Is responsible for obtaining sponsorship for all MYBA teams and is also responsible for putting together the annual MYBA Program/Sponsor Booklet (to be handed out during MYBA Opening Day).
Is responsible for managing the MYBA concession stands.
Concessions is responsible for ensuring that all stands are kept stock with the proper supplies and that a supply list is submitted to each of the team coaches before Opening Day.
